Project Compass CIC was set up in 2013, to provide a new single point of digital access to all public procurement tenders within the UK and EU built environment.
ProjectCompass was successfully awarded funding to enable it to research and document all UK OJEU Built Environment notices from 2009 to 2014, leading to the production of a major research report and publication in Autumn 2014.
This report highlights the patterns and trends within public procurement of, for example, Notice Values, Project Aggregation, Lots -sizes and values, Quality of Notice Information, Threshold Requirements, Contract Periods, Geographical Distribution, Calendar Distribution etc. It provides an invaluable tool for those wishing to understand the procurement of design services in public works, and a benchmark for evaluating the market over time.
Call for PQQs and Award Notices
As the ‘Notices’ provide only the first link in the chain and many PQQs are no longer available online, ProjectCompass is asking all UK practitioners and professionals within the built environment industry to urgently forward to the email address below all uncompleted / blank PQQs to help deepen and broaden the value of the findings.
Please end original, blank copies of it to firstname.lastname@example.org
When sending the information please state:
- OJEU Reference number first
- PQQ Document + any further Project Information provided
- Award Notice (if applicable)
All professionals and organisations who contribute in this way will be sent a summary report once it has been launched.
